Ron Redmond is credentialed by the State of New Jersey as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Mental Health Screener, Disaster Response Crisis Counselor, Emergency Opioid Overdose Responder and a Clinical Supervisor. Ron has been the Clinical Director of Ambulatory & Emergency Services at Legacy Treatment Services since 2015, previous to that he was Senior Vice President of Clinical Services at Allies, Inc, serving individuals with developmental and psychiatric disabilities.
He has overseen the directors of Community Support Services and Outpatient Services, and supervises Outpatient Mental Health and Substance Abuse services (at both Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient levels), as well as the Intensive Outpatient Treatment and Support Services, Family Crisis Intervention Unit and Youth Anger Management programs. Ron also serves on the Gloucester County Human Services Advisory Council and Chairs the County’s Management Assistance Resource Team. In private practice he provides in home psychotherapeutic services to children with severe trauma histories, and has experience providing and overseeing services for youth and adults struggling with both cognitive and mental health needs.
Previous to getting his Master’s Degree in Social Work in 1998 Ron was a middle school teacher and worked in group homes for adults with developmental disabilities. He spearheaded new training programs at Devereux New Jersey and believes in performance improvement at all levels of staff and program development.
