Megan holds dual Master’s degrees, Master of Science: Kinesiology (Concentration in Sport and Exercise Psychology) and Master of Art: Professional Clinical Counseling. Her interest in the complexity of the human brain began in high school and at that point, she knew she wanted to work in the mental health field. Megan has participated in a host of psychology-related research experiences as well as presenting on many topics relating to mental health. Her belief is that by focusing on all of the assets the client has that make he or she do well, she is able to determine ways to further enhance client wellness.
Megan has a varied background of experiences, working with elementary, high school, and college athletes, children, bariatric surgery patients, adults, in group and individual sessions. She brings enthusiasm, warmth and knowledge to the Thrive Team.
